A
comprehensive Health & Safety Representative Trainers Kit
The
Law
Section 17 of the Occupational Health & Safety Act [Act 85
of 1993], makes it obligatory for every every employer who has more than 20
employees in their employment (at any workplace), designate a Health and Safety
Representative/s for the workplace/s.
Furthermore
Section
18(3) demands that employers provides such facilities, assistance and training
as a Health and Safety Representative may reasonably require and as have
been agreed upon for the carrying out of their functions.
