Department of Labour Approval

SETA Accreditation

In terms of the General Safety Regulations of the Occupational Health & Safety Act, our training associate and matter specialist, John Hambleton of Frontline Emergency Care has been approved by the Chief Inspector of the Department of Labour to issue valid First Aid “Certificates of Competency” to those who satisfactorily complete the training.

While SETA accreditation is not a legal requirement, our trainers have presented these non unit standard aligned courses over the past 20 years. As one of the oldest Health & Safety training providers in South Africa, we focus on the Occupational Health & Safety Act and "best-practice". Compliance by all is paramount. "Certificates of Attendance" will be issued to all who complete the training.

What does the Act require?

What training do we provide?

In addition to specialist competency training the Act and Regulations require that:

All Supervisors to be trained to manage Health & Safety in their area.

All Managers to understand the requirements of the Act and Regulations and trained to implement and manage their Health & Safety systems.
