The OH&S Act requires that all employers “Inform, Instruct, Train  Supervise” their employees to cope with the “Dangers, Hazards and Risks” encountered at work [Sect 8]. In addition, it demands that Health & Safety Reps, First Aiders, Supervisors and others be trained. By successfully completing this ETDP course, participants will become ETDP SETA recognised trainers. INTRA-SAFE has an Agreement with a SETA Accredited Service Provider who will professionally provide and administer in-house and public courses on their behalf. 4 day SETA accredited Facilitator Course
Attend this SETA course [Unit Standard 117871 NQF level: 5 Credits: 10] to “Facilitate learning using a variety of given methodologies”.
Presented on behalf of INTRA-SAFE by Glenda Methven, CEO of Learnability, a SETA accredited training provider [ETDP 10597]. On satisfactory completion, learners earn credits towards a national qualification. Learners must have a matric or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification. This course is aimed at those who are or will be involved in facilitating learning programme.

The fee of R4,995.00 per person, includes VAT, an INDUCTOR Trainer’s Kit and POE (Portfolio of Evidence) assessment. It does not include accommodation or travel. Facilitator
Glenda has her BTech Degree in HR and Training and has been working in the training field for over 17 years.  She has been an assessor since 2003 and has been training assessors, moderators, trainers and educators in the field of ETD for over 8 years.
She was voted as one of South Africa’s Most Influential Women in Business and Government for 2013.

Portfolio of Evidence
Learners will prepare and facilitate a session on the last day, which we will record and offer feedback. The remaining time will be spent on portfolio building. They will receive a DVD of their facilitated session to form part of their POE [Portfolio of Evidence].
